Senior Enrollment Representative in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Supervisor to direct the activities of the Enrollment Unit, assuring eligibility and other insurance requirements are met according to health plan’s policies and procedures and all contractual/regulatory requirements. Ensures compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) related policies in regard to all aspects of operations within Member Services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two years college level work in business, health care administration or related work is required. Enrollment and billing experience preferred, health care resolving experience helpful but not required. Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in a health maintenance setting preferred.
