Packager in PASADENA, Texas at Trecora LLC

The Warehouse Packager is responsible for handling inventory and the packing of products from various weights with solid products to wax and custom processing operations using automated equipment.

Production & Packaging Operations

1. Fill packages (boxes, drums, totes, and supersacks) of various weights with solid products from wax and custom processing operations using automated equipment.

2. Stack packaged materials on pallets.

3. Brace shipments for delivery.

4. Complete inventory log sheets as requested.

5. Operate forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.

6. Support the clean-out of process equipment, including performing confined space entry in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.

7. Complete various basic general labor tasks as requested.

Maintenance & Housekeeping

8. Complete routine inspections of equipment and facilities in assigned work areas.

9. Support housekeeping throughout the plant to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement

10. Observe all safety policies and procedures.

11. Participate in plant safety processes and immediately report any unsafe conditions.

12. Maintain familiarity with safe handling, environmental regulations, and emergency response for all materials in your area.

13. Remain current on the requirements of the QMS and ensure that actions support the Trecora Chemical Quality Policy and continual improvement.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

Forklift certification or ability to be certified required.

OSHA 10 training or related safety training required.

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of experience in a Warehouse setting.
