Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support our Homebuilder Solutions team in Jacksonville, Florida.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career in construction, take ownership of their work, and develop into a future Field Construction Manager.

You will spend your days visiting active residential construction sites, working alongside experienced field managers, and supporting roofing and siding operations.

Construction experience is a plus, but not required.

• Support daily construction operations across multiple residential jobsites.

• Communicate with builders, subcontractors, and field managers.

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating installation crews.

• Perform quality control and safety inspections.

• Document installation progress and identify potential issues.

• Assist with material deliveries, shortages, and returns.

• Track projects from installation through completion.

• Support warranty requests, punch lists, and final inspections.

• Help resolve jobsite issues and maintain company standards.

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working outdoors and visiting multiple jobsites.

• Willingness to learn roofing, siding, and construction management.

• Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift up to 80 pounds.

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Construction, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, or other hands-on experience.

• Experience coordinating schedules, people, or materials.

• Customer service or leadership experience.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
