Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Systems Analyst is a key member of the Administrative Information Services (AIS) team, providing technical expertise and support to the college’s administrative staff, division systems managers, and team members. This role is instrumental in leveraging technology solutions to achieve organizational goals and institutional business objectives. As part of a dynamic, self-directed team, this position supports the operation, integration, and enhancement of critical administrative systems, including Ellucian Banner, Experience, Ethos, DataConnect, WebFOCUS, the Pathify portal, SnapLogic integrations, the JAMS job scheduler, Evisions, and the College’s Identity Management system.
The Systems Analyst position is a hybrid position that requires an individual who lives in a reasonable distance to Norton, MA or is willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical solutions, programming, and system optimization for core Banner modules.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain custom applications and integration solutions, following established coding standards and technical documentation.
• Lead and manage the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the college’s enterprise job scheduler (JAMS).
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to analyze business processes, define functional requirements, and implement effective IT solutions.
• Facilitate seamless data sharing, reporting (WebFOCUS/Evisions), letter generation, and data manipulation across administrative divisions.
• Work closely with Database Administrators (DBAs) to ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and minimal redundancy.
• Provide tier-2/3 technical guidance and mentoring to administrative power users.
• Stay current with emerging higher-education technologies, administrative software trends, and integration frameworks through professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Programmer/Analyst working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and development tools.
• Strong background in data processing, data modeling, and enterprise system integration techniques (e.g., SnapLogic, REST/JSON APIs, Ethos).
• Proficiency with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, ReactJS, jQuery).
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments, C/Pro*C, and shell scripting (bash).
• Solid understanding of administrative software systems, self-service portals, batch schedulers (JAMS), and enterprise reporting tools (WebFOCUS, Evisions).
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
• High customer-service orientation, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Programmer/Analyst working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and development tools.

• Demonstrated experience writing technical documentation and conducting end-user training sessions.
