QUALITY MANAGER

Location: South Bend, IN - Onsite

What is a Quality Manager?

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality systems, processes, and teams to ensure products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role leads quality assurance and control activities, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional teams to enhance product and process performance. The position plays a critical role in maintaining product consistency, supporting compliance, and strengthening overall quality culture.



What You Can Expect to Do as a Quality Manager:

    Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control functionsDevelop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, and proceduresEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer standards, and internal specificationsAnalyze quality data and drive improvements to reduce defects and variabilityLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiativesPartner with Production, Engineering, and Technical teams to resolve quality issuesOversee audits, certifications, and regulatory inspectionsEstablish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs

What We Are Looking For in a Quality Manager:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required5 to 10+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related rolesExperience in chemical or industrial manufacturing preferredProven leadership experience managing teamsStrong understanding of quality systems, standards, and methodologiesExperience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvementFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks (certification preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    Ability to work in laboratory and manufacturing environments.Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.Ability to travel up to 10% if applicable.
