Buck Services has been a family-owned commercial janitorial and facility services company since 1988. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to keep our client facilities safe, functional, and running smoothly. If you like fixing things, staying busy, and working with people, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Handle general maintenance: light bulbs, outlets, switches, and minor plumbing repairs
• Run routine safety checks on fire alarms, extinguishers, and other safety equipment
• Work directly with client on maintenance requests
• Coordinate with outside contractors on scheduling and planning
• Keep maintenance records up to date and report issues to your supervisor
• Respond to occasional after-hours emergency calls

What You Bring

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Hands-on repair experience (maintenance, electrical, furniture assembly, or similar)
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals and write simple reports
• Fluency in English
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods

Nice to Have

• Maintenance or facilities experience, especially in schools, churches, or similar settings
• Availability for flexible hours, including some weekends and overtime

What We Offer

• Pay: $21-23/hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hours (6:30am start time)
