Position Summary

The Learning & Development Coordinator supports systems, instructor-led trainings, programs, projects, and other operations within the Talent Development team. This role is responsible for Learning Management System (LMS) administration, troubleshooting, and customer service related to the LMS. In addition, this role will lead the administration and maintenance of data for L&D processes, including legal compliance training, goal administration, and any IT or HRIS partnerships needed for escalated LMS needs. The L&D Coordinator supports offerings that include scheduling, tracking enrollment and attendance, reporting, supporting facilitator or instructor needs, creating marketing materials and tools related to L&D offerings. Additionally, this role will deliver ad-hoc L&D requests, including building training materials, providing administrative support for talent programs, and working closely with the Talent Development team to deliver their strategic objectives for the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to ongoing L&D mailbox or ticket requests with high levels of customer service and timeliness. Partner with other L&D teams to meet their needs as the primary LMS administrator and point person for LMS troubleshooting.
  • Organize, launch, and track compliance for annual legal compliance training, along with ad-hoc training needs to support HR, Safety, Legal, IT, and other functions training needs.
  • Support the Talent Development team in collecting employee goals, creating simple training decks, videos, and job aids, and partnering with HRBPs to track goal submission throughout the year. Support L&D or other talent processes within the Docebo LMS or UKG systems as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties for L&D offerings, including scheduling, building instructor-led trainings (ILTs) and eLearnings, tracking enrollment and attendance, supporting facilitators or instructors as needed (e.g., joining calls to provide support or testing), etc. Create marketing materials (i.e., newsletters, communications, job aids) and other tools to enable learners to engage with the L&D offerings.
  • Shadow ILTs and co-facilitate some trainings, where appropriate.
  • Create training decks, speaker series, and coordinate simple L&D offerings or projects with supervision and support from the Talent Development team.
  • Support talent development programs with scheduling, event support, and building materials.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR, L&D, or related area.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly and be willing to self-educate and troubleshoot.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle several programs or projects at once.
  • Strong customer service skills, willingness to learn new systems and skills, and interest in learning L&D.
  • Presentation skills with the ability to conduct themselves in a professional and engaging manner with audiences of varying leadership levels.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a Learning Management System (LMS).

Travel Requirements:

No travel required (stationary work location).

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

Overtime hours may be required based on business needs.
