This role is essential in driving catering sales, managing event logistics, and delivering exceptional guest experiences for corporate and social events.

Key Responsibilities

Catering Sales: Secure bookings for corporate day meetings (fewer than 5 rooms on peak), sporting groups (including outfitter activities, meetings, and meals), and social catering events within the next 90 days.

Event Coordination: Manage all booking details for corporate and social events (excluding weddings), including preparing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and booking checks for client approval 30 days prior to arrival.

Operational Support: Coordinate with the property operations team to reserve outfitter activities, request rooming lists, send confirmation numbers, and prepare detailed resumes for pre-con meetings and event handovers to Event Captains.

Financial Oversight: Collect deposits per contract schedules, ensure final payments 30 days prior to events, conduct daily charge reconciliations, and provide clients with zero-balance receipts upon departure.

Lead with Impact: Take ownership of catering sales and service strategies, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction that elevates Foxhall Resort’s reputation as a premier destination.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Salary: Attractive base salary based on experience, paid bi-weekly.

Catering Sales Incentive Plan: Performance-based bonus upon achieving quarterly and year-to-date booking goals.

Phone Stipend: $50 per month cell phone reimbursement.

Insurance: Eligible for health, dental, vision, and term life insurance starting the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, or event management, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing event logistics.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate with clients and operations teams.

Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Delphi, WebRez Pro, FareHarbor, CRM software) is a plus.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Must pass background checks, including criminal, drug screening, credit, and DMV.
