Job Description

Position Summary

As an R&D Intern, you’ll work closely with our Engineering and Product Development teams to support research, design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities across mechanical, hardware, firmware, and software projects. This internship will provide hands-on experience with the full engineering development process, from early concept exploration through design verification and product improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products, components, and systems.
  • Support prototyping, assembly, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical, electrical, hardware, firmware, and software solutions.
  • Contribute to engineering documentation, test procedures, design notes, and technical reports.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to support design decisions and product improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to investigate technical challenges and evaluate potential solutions.
  • Assist with CAD models, drawings, simulations, test fixtures, or software tools as needed.
  • Support research activities related to materials, components, technologies, manufacturing methods, and product performance.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Interest in research and development, product design, prototyping, and engineering problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as CAD software, data analysis tools, programming languages, lab equipment, or test systems.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, software, firmware, or hardware development concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced engineering environment.
