We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Gynecologic Oncology Infusion Nurse (Chemotherapy RN) to join our oncology care team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is responsible for administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration, and supportive infusion treatments to patients with gynecologic cancers in an outpatient infusion setting.

The ideal candidate is experienced in oncology nursing, committed to patient-centered care, and comfortable working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary oncology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration, and supportive medications according to established oncology protocols.

Perform patient assessments before, during, and after infusion treatments.

Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to infusion-related emergencies.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, side effects, symptom management, and home care instructions.

Access and maintain central venous devices including ports, PICC lines, and central lines.

Accurately document assessments, treatments, medication administration, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Collaborate with gynecologic oncologists and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Ensure compliance with ONS chemotherapy administration standards, infection control protocols, and safety regulations.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current oncology nursing competencies.

Provide emotional support and advocacy for oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

Required

Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum 2 years of oncology or infusion nursing experience.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience administering chemotherapy and managing infusion reactions.

Strong IV insertion and central line management skills.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
