This field-based commercial role focuses on driving sales and expanding adoption of advanced surgical ophthalmic solutions across assigned territories. You will engage directly with ophthalmic surgeons and healthcare professionals to promote innovative products that improve patient outcomes in eye care. The position requires frequent travel within designated regions to maintain strong customer relationships and ensure consistent market coverage. You will play a key role in supporting revenue growth by identifying opportunities, strengthening account partnerships, and ensuring effective product positioning. Working in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to align field execution with business objectives. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional passionate about medical technology and improving vision care accessibility.
- Promote and sell surgical ophthalmic products to ophthalmic surgeons and healthcare institutions within assigned territories.
- Manage field-based customer relationships and ensure consistent engagement with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and support expansion of product adoption across the region.
- Conduct regular field visits to maintain strong market presence and ensure effective territory coverage.
- Support account management activities, including product education, demonstrations, and clinical discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Gather market intelligence and feedback to support business planning and product positioning.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, orders, and customer requirements to maintain high service standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare account management.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management in a field environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage medical professionals.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in field conditions.
- Basic understanding of ophthalmology or surgical healthcare products is an advantage.
