Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: | ||
Identifies, develops, and secures new business opportunities within the local market. Strives to meet or exceed established sales, service, and profit goals. | Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and community organizations. | |
Manages and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial loan accounts. | Acts as a trusted advisor, offering customized financial solutions to meet clients' needs. | |
Evaluates and analyzes financial statements, cash flow projections, and collateral to determine creditworthiness. | Monitors portfolio performance and proactively identifies and addresses potential risks or delinquency issues. | |
Prepares detailed loan presentations and makes recommendations to the credit committee. Collaborates with credit analysts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the underwriting process. | Assesses and structures credit proposals for commercial clients, including real estate, working capital, and equipment financing. | |
Properly documents loans in accordance with loan approvals and Loan Policy. Ensure all loans comply with banking regulations and internal policies. | Responsible for collecting past due loan payments and managing troubled relationships within their portfolio. | |
Conducts regular client meetings to review loan performance, identifies cross-selling opportunities, and resolve issues. | Works closely with Cash Management staff to meet the deposit and cash management needs of commercial loan customers. |
Education/Certification: | |
Four Year college degree desired with a major in business or finance or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. | |
Required Experience/Required Knowledge: | |
Knowledge and experience in commercial lending. | Thorough knowledge of commercial loan products and third party guarantee offerings is required. |
Minimum of three to five years of lending experience with a proven track record in portfolio management and business development.. |
