This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, bringing retention marketing programs to life across multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment. You will act as the technical backbone of lifecycle marketing initiatives, translating retention strategies into high-performing email, SMS, and onsite experiences. Working closely with strategists and account teams, you will build, optimize, and maintain complex automations, segmentation, and customer journeys. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in implementation within modern eCommerce stacks. You will also play a key role in migrations, integrations, and QA across platforms. This is a highly collaborative position where precision, scalability, and technical excellence directly impact client growth and retention outcomes.
- Execute end-to-end implementation of retention marketing programs, including email, SMS, automation flows, segmentation, and onsite conversion experiences across client accounts
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced lifecycle journeys, custom events, audience targeting, and signup forms within Klaviyo
- Lead migrations from platforms such as Attentive, Mailchimp, Omnisend, and HubSpot into Klaviyo-based ecosystems
- Configure and maintain integrations with platforms like Shopify, Recharge, Yotpo, and other retention tools
- Perform technical QA across campaigns, flows, segmentation logic, tracking, and automation logic to ensure flawless execution
- Troubleshoot complex data, event tracking, and integration issues while maintaining implementation standards and SOPs
- Support onboarding projects, audits, and internal enablement by acting as a technical subject matter expert
- Contribute to the development of scalable implementation frameworks across the retention team
- 3–6+ years of experience in email, SMS, or lifecycle marketing, ideally within an agency or multi-client environment
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and managing campaigns, flows, and automations in Klaviyo
- Strong experience with segmentation, lifecycle strategy execution, and customer data architecture
- Proven track record of managing platform migrations and cross-system integrations in eCommerce environments
- Familiarity with custom events, tracking implementation, and data mapping across marketing systems
- Experience working with tools such as Shopify and other retention or CRM technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail and structured QA processes
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple client priorities simultaneously
- Preferred: Klaviyo certifications, Shopify Plus experience, and exposure to tools like Attentive, LoyaltyLion, ReferralCandy, or similar platforms
- Competitive base salary range of $75,000 – $95,000
