Position Summary

The Support Staff plays an essential role in creating an exceptional guest experience by making sure food, beverages, and bakery items are delivered accurately and efficiently. This position supports both the front-of-house and kitchen teams by maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring seamless communication between the bakery, kitchen, and service staff.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverages, and bakery items promptly and accurately to guests.

• Make sure orders are complete and presented according to company standards.

• Communicate professionally with guests and team members.

• Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, to-go containers, and other necessary supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, beverage stations, and service areas.

• Remove used dishes and assist with bussing tables as needed.

• Refill water stations and assist with beverage service when appropriate.

• Support opening, shift, and closing responsibilities.

• Handle food carefully and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

• Verify orders before delivering them to guests.

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bakery production, baristas, and service staff.

• Assist in other areas of the bakery as business demands require.

• Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and climb as needed.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.

• Demonstrates genuine hospitality in every guest interaction.

• Upholds the bakery's standards for food quality, presentation, and service.
