Job Description
The Business AI Automation & Integration Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and managing artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and systems integration initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between business operations, sales, customer service, finance, supply chain, and technology teams to drive productivity, scalability, data visibility, and business growth.
The successful candidate will lead the company's AI strategy by evaluating emerging technologies, automating repetitive processes, integrating business systems, and ensuring employees are equipped to leverage AI tools effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
AI Strategy & Business Transformation
- Develop and execute the company's AI and automation roadmap
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives
- Establish governance, policies, and best practices for AI adoption
Process Automation
- Analyze current workflows and identify automation opportunities
- Design and implement automated processes across our internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Service, Sales Operations, Procurement, Inventory Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing)
- Measure and report productivity improvements and ROI.
System Integration
- Lead integration efforts between:
ERP systems
CRM platforms
E-commerce platforms
Vendor portals
Business intelligence tools
Customer communication systems
- Improve data flow and eliminate manual data entry
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop AI-powered dashboards and reporting tools
- Improve visibility into sales performance, inventory trends, customer behavior, and operational KPIs
- Support executive decision-making through advanced analytics.
Employee Adoption & Training
- Act as the company's AI subject matter expert
- Train employees on AI tools and automation platforms
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Develop AI usage guidelines and training programs
Vendor Management
- Evaluate and manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners
- Oversee implementation budgets and project timelines
- Ensure solutions deliver measurable business value
General Responsibilities
- Stay current on emerging AI, automation, and integration technologies
- Support organizational goals through technology-driven improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading business systems, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience within industrial distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments preferred
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems required
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, API integrations, workflow automation tools, and business intelligence platforms preferred
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Epicor, Infor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, TrulinX, or similar systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally walk through warehouse, branch, and operational environments to observe processes and support improvement initiatives
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials or equipment up to 25 pounds
- Ability to travel between company locations as needed
- Ability to work in office, warehouse, and industrial environments, including varying temperatures and conditions
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000
**Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and acceptable motor vehicle record, as well as possession of a valid driver’s license prior to start date.
