Univest is seeking a Lead Bank Operations Analyst to join our Deposit Operations team in a hybrid role. In this position, you’ll help lead operational initiatives, support core banking systems, improve processes, and partner across teams to keep our bank operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

Serve as direct supervisor to the Deposit & Loan Operations Analyst team, including but not limited to monthly one on one meetings and annual review process. Responsible for organizing and completing onboarding and training of new team members.

Responsible for overseeing, performing, and maintaining core system parameters. This includes but is not limited to the annual core releases, products, transactions, statements and notices.

Responsible for data integrity as it relates to CIF, deposit, savings, loan, CD & IRA parameters. Perform regular reviews of data and communicate with operations teams to coordinate clean-up efforts. Ensure any compliance or system issues are addressed in a timely fashion and followed up on through completion.

Attend training to stay up to date on any applicable compliance or regulatory changes that impact bank operations, analyzing current processes and making recommendations for changes in operational procedures or core parameters to support changes.

Collaborate with project teams and serve as a main point of contact for core operational functions, building requirements and testing parameters. Analyze current processes for areas of improvement, making recommendations for best practices as workflows are being built and tested.

Responsible for maintaining the operational relationship with Jack Henry systems, including but not limited to Totowa document processing, Silverlake core, Synergy, Open Anywhere, and ArgoKeys. Serve as liaison to support system changes, enhancements, and custom work requests.

Responsible for coordinating with Marketing, Compliance, Data Analytics, and other business lines to update and validate data lists, mailings and any other customer notification efforts.

Responsible for overseeing and supporting all operations areas with end of year tasks and annual tax reporting functions, including adjustments, manual entries, reporting to the core system provider and the IRS.

Provide ongoing support to other departments with projects and audits or regulatory activities by providing reports and queries as requested.

Lead special projects as assigned by department manager, acting as a change agent for bank operations initiatives, providing constructive insight and motivating the team to embrace change in a positive manner.

Participate in various in-house committees as assigned, representing bank operations.

Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation, leveraging advanced workflow tools and supporting approved AI use to further enhance operations and support strategic growth goals.

Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures for bank operations, establish and enforce SLAs and KPIs, and manage work queues to ensure stated goals are consistently met.

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years banking experience with a focus on Deposit or Loan Operations, bank system parameters or frontline operations.

Detailed understanding of banking operations, including but not limited to products, accounts, transactions, payments, and reconciliations.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized with the ability to self-motivate, multi-task and prioritize.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Project Management and/or Change Management/Continuous Improvement certifications or experience required.

Programming or data query experience preferred.

Knowledge of Jack Henry & Associates or related core banking system and related products and Salesforce required.

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $76,000 to $96,500
