The Children’s Development Center in Richland, WA is hiring a Program Coordinator to ensure compliance and integrity of the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program through the Children’s Developmental Center. They will work as a team member to help families and staff through the referral, evaluation, service, and transition processes in a confidential and efficient manner.

What does the position entail?

JOB SUMMARY: The Program Coordinator will ensure compliance and integrity of the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program through the Children’s Developmental Center. They will work as a team member to help families and staff through the referral, evaluation, service, and transition processes confidentially and efficiently. Promotes and adheres to the Center's safety work rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not an Exhaustive List):

· Act as a member of the multidisciplinary team.

· Ensure accuracy of required documents of Birth-3 program.

· Act as a liaison with Community partners.

· Schedule required Staff trainings.

· Keep up to date on any changes to the ESIT program policies and procedures.

· Attend required Regional Provider & quarterly compliance meetings for the ESIT program.

· Update ESIT/EHR procedures and forms as needed in collaboration with Program Coordinator.

· Understand and use the EHR system (AdvancedMD) for scheduling evaluation appointments, child dismissals and keeping child records, updating documents, and templates.

· Data entry in AdvancedMD and Access (database).

· Support the ABA and Pediatric Pelvic Health Programs.

Salary Range: $24.00-$30.00 hourly, commensurate with qualifications

Location: 1549 Georgia Avenue SE, Richland, WA 99352

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM with occasional nights and weekends on volunteer basis. This is a non-exempt/hourly position. To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and punctual attendance is expected.

The Children’s Developmental Center is a nonprofit that has served children with special needs since 1977. Its mission is empowering families and improving children’s lives through early intervention services, education, and therapeutic services. We offer early intervention services including birth to three, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Pediatric Pelvic Health Program, and Special Education services.

Qualifications/Requirements

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

· Knowledge of the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program.

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

· Detail-oriented and efficient

· Awareness of resources/services in the community.

· Personal experience with infants and toddlers with special health care needs and their families.

· A founded commitment to high professional ethical standards, confidentiality, and ensuring equity and inclusion in a diverse workplace.

· Ability to effectively multi-task in a busy setting is essential.

· Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out established duties and written or verbal instructions.

· Able to work independently and cooperate as a team member.

· Punctual, reliable, flexible and detail oriented

· Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to establish and maintain trusted professional working relationships.

· Must have the ability to commute locally for events (up to 10% of the time.) If commuting via personal vehicle, must maintain a WA State Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

· Due to our work with vulnerable populations, a background check including criminal record history, and pre-employment drug screening is required.

· Due to working in a building with access to children, hepatitis, annual flu shot, MMR, and a negative Tuberculin test is required. COVID-19 vaccination is required. Exemption available upon request.
