The Sr Quality Systems Specialist will play a key role in strengthening and advancing quality management practices across a global organization.
This position focuses on improving systems, processes, and compliance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
The role combines quality expertise, process improvement, auditing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence.
You will work closely with leadership, product teams, and functional groups to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and maintain industry standards.

The Sr Quality Systems Specialist will provide independent quality management expertise and support across multiple teams and organizational levels. This role is responsible for maintaining effective quality systems, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the implementation, improvement, and maturity of quality management systems, including successful certifications and recertifications.
- Develop solutions for complex quality challenges by applying established policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance on quality processes, audits, compliance, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Create and maintain performance metrics that measure process health, capability, and quality outcomes.
- Conduct product, system, and process audits to evaluate compliance with standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Support external audits by representing internal stakeholders and ensuring readiness across teams.
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements across multiple functions and locations.
- Perform non-conformance investigations, identify root causes, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and analyze quality trends.
- Maintain quality policies, procedures, documentation, and metrics to support organizational, customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve quality practices by researching industry standards and promoting adoption of enhanced processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality systems, process improvement, and compliance within a technology-focused environment. They should demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across an organization.
- 6+ years of experience implementing and/or maintaining quality management systems.
- 3+ years of experience applying process improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience using performance metrics and data analysis to measure quality and operational effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, documentation practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience conducting audits and supporting corrective and preventive action processes.
- Ability to independently analyze complex problems and develop practical, effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Experience with RTCA DO-200B/ED-76A and AC 20-153B standards preferred.
- Certified Quality Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt, or other professional quality certifications are highly desirable.
- Competitive annual salary range of $100,000 – $125,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, market factors, and business considerations.
