This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning professional to design impactful online training programs focused on AI, data, and emerging technologies. In this role, you will create engaging learning experiences that empower professionals at all career levels to build future-ready skills. Working closely with subject matter experts, client stakeholders, operations, and instructors, you will transform business needs into innovative, evidence-based learning solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping curriculum strategy, improving learner outcomes, and delivering measurable value for clients. This position is ideal for someone who combines expertise in adult learning with strong project management skills and a passion for educational innovation in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote-first environment.
- Design engaging online learning experiences by defining learning objectives, creating course outlines, developing instructional content, and producing facilitator guides and learning materials focused on AI, data, and technology topics.
- Lead curriculum development projects from planning through delivery, managing timelines, priorities, stakeholder communication, and quality standards throughout the content lifecycle.
- Translate client business objectives into effective instructional strategies and learning solutions that align with organizational goals and learner needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, account managers, and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs.
- Recommend instructional approaches, delivery methods, assessments, and learner engagement strategies based on audience needs and desired business outcomes.
- Provide guidance on instructional design best practices while contributing innovative ideas to enhance learning effectiveness and learner experience.
- Monitor industry trends in learning technologies, corporate training, AI, and EdTech to continuously improve program quality and instructional methodologies.
- 5–7 years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or learning and development roles.
- Proven experience designing corporate training programs for AI, data, technology, or related technical subject areas.
- Strong expertise in developing both live virtual (synchronous) and self-paced (asynchronous) online learning experiences.
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and evidence-based learning practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple learning projects while balancing client objectives, timelines, and business priorities.
- Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality learning materials.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to evaluating learning effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and navigate changing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Must be based in Canada and available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) compatible business hours.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from CAD $105,000–$134,000, based on experience and qualifications.
