Come join our growing Maintenance Operations team as a Maintenance Technician 1 at Richman Property Services, Inc. (RPS), in Port Richey, FL!


Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!

Position: Maintenance Technician 1

Location: Hudson Ridge, Port Richey, FL 34668

Key Requirements, what we are looking for!

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a multi-family community handling maintenance service requests, make-readies, curb-appeal...etc.
  • EPA I & II or EPA Universal is required for this position. However if you have the right skills, experience and drive to join our team and don't have your EPA, we may consider hiring, and paying/sponsoring your EPA certification within your first 75-days on the job!
  • Valid/active Driver's license is required for this position.

What we offer our best Candidates:

  • Competitive base hourly pay, 40-hour work week, daytime schedules, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, on/call or weekend shifts required
  • All maintenance Employee's receive automatic quarterly pay increases every three months (every quarter), following initial 90-day's on the job
  • Maintenance Technicians receive a monthly personal cell phone allowance of $40/per months, and are eligible for annual discretionary bonus at year-end!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements:

Education:
  1. High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Skills & Certifications:
          • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred.
          • Valid Driver's License required.
          • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
