SUMMARY
Provides hospital and affiliated facilities with materials to the designated area in an expedient manner and maintains accountability of supplies distributed and services performed. Performs inventory checks to ensure adequate supply distribution management.
Ensures the proper handling of radioactive material, Pharmacy drugs, and other sensitive commodities to their departments, inclusive of forwarding MSDS documents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of materials handling or related work experience
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Familiarity and ability to use ERP technology and Microsoft applications effectively
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory, replenish, and maintain supply, exchange, and linen carts to established par levels while ensuring inventory accuracy.
Receive, verify, organize, and distribute incoming materials, reporting discrepancies and prioritizing urgent or time-sensitive shipments.
Deliver supplies, medical equipment, mail, and departmental requests promptly, including ASAP and STAT orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records, complete required documentation, and utilize inventory tracking systems and wireless technology.
Handle sensitive materials, including pharmacy items, medical gases, human tissue, radioactive materials, and recalls, following established procedures.
Perform physical inventory counts, return overstock items, and maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas.
Provide excellent customer service by supporting hospital departments, responding to supply requests, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $21.58
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
