Position Summary:The Executive Director of Talent Management provides strategic leadership for the districts
comprehensive talent management functions, ensuring the attraction, hiring, onboarding,development, support, and retention of a highly qualified workforce. Reporting to the ChiefTalent Management Officer, this position oversees the design and execution of talent strategiesthat support the districts mission of preparing every student for success.The Executive Director leads the Talent Management team responsible for recruitment,onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management,talent operations, and organizational culture. This leader partners closely with cabinet, districtexecutives, school leaders, and department leaders to develop innovative workforce solutions
that strengthen district-wide culture and the overall employee experience while ensuringoperational excellence and compliance.

Key Functions:
Provides cabinet-level strategic leadership for district-wide talent management, includingtalent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performancemanagement, HRIS, and talent operations
Serves as a trusted advisor to cabinet and executive leadership on workforce planning,retention, and organizational effectiveness
Leads and develops the Talent Management leadership team and builds departmentalcapacity
Oversees employee relations, including coordination with the General Counsel team,union relations, and investigations
Leverages workforce analytics to inform staffing, retention, and organizational decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration,Organizational Leadership, Education, or a related field

Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in humanresources or talent management
Minimum of five (5) years of high-level work leading multiple HR functions andsupervising managers or large teams; experience gained in other organizations isacceptable
Ability to interpret and use data to drive system-wide implementation and develop anaction plan
Demonstrated experience leading organizational change and implementing strategicinitiatives
Experience managing complex budgets and multiple operational functions

Licenses and Certifications:
Senior HR certification required. Candidates who hold an SPHR or SHRM-SCPcertification at hire satisfy this requirement. Candidates who do not must obtain thepHCLE (professional Human Capital Leaders in Education) certification expected
within one (1) year of hire, with continued service in the position contingent on obtainingit within two (2) years of hire

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong strategic planning and organizational leadership skills
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to analyze complex workforce data and translate insights into actionablestrategies
Intradepartmental leadership experience across multiple HR functions
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Strong project management and change management skills
Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Commitment to employee engagement
