Position Overview

We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our team at our Euclid, Ohio facility.

This role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing required shipping documentation, maintaining accurate ERP records, and communicating with internal teams, customers, and transportation providers. The Shipping Coordinator will help ensure all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with customer, regulatory, export, and hazardous-material requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented logistics professional who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities and supporting customer delivery commitments in a manufacturing environment. The position is a full-time, first-shift role reporting to the Buyer/Shipping Supervisor.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments to meet customer and production requirements
• Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export-related paperwork
• Schedule freight pickups and communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments
• Process shipment transactions and maintain accurate order, inventory, and tracking information within the ERP system
• Verify products, quantities, addresses, packaging, and documentation before shipment
• Support hazardous-material shipments in accordance with applicable training and regulatory requirements
• Monitor shipment status, investigate delays or discrepancies, and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders
• Maintain organized shipping records and support inventory, audit, and compliance requirements
• Partner with Production, Planning, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to resolve shipping priorities and delivery concerns
• Follow all company safety, quality, trade-compliance, and shipping procedures

• Accurate and on-time processing of customer shipments
• Complete and compliant domestic and international shipping documentation
• Reliable ERP transactions, inventory records, and shipment tracking
• Timely resolution of carrier, documentation, and delivery issues
• Strong coordination across Shipping, Production, Planning, Quality, and Sales
• Safe and compliant handling of hazardous and regulated shipments

Ideal Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related logistics or supply-chain education preferred
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing operations
• Experience coordinating international shipments and preparing export documentation preferred
• Familiarity with hazardous-material shipping requirements and current Hazmat training preferred
• Experience using an ERP system as part of daily shipping or inventory responsibilities
• Knowledge of bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and carrier documentation
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and changing priorities with strong attention to detail
• Must meet applicable ITAR and trade-compliance requirements
