Accountabilities

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of content strategies that educate audiences, increase engagement, and support business growth.

  • Develop and implement content strategies aligned with organizational goals, audience needs, and brand positioning.
  • Establish editorial standards, content workflows, and scalable processes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Create and manage a content calendar covering newsletters, social media, whitepapers, thought leadership materials, and other formats.
  • Write, edit, and refine high-quality content that is clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Own newsletter strategy and optimization efforts to increase engagement and drive audience conversion.
  • Grow social media presence by developing meaningful content that supports awareness and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical experts, research teams, and other stakeholders to produce credible and impactful content.
  • Track content performance metrics and use insights to improve messaging, formats, subject lines, and audience engagement.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve content creation processes and increase efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced content marketing professional with strong storytelling abilities, healthcare industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience creating content within a healthcare, health benefits, or healthcare services organization.
  • Strong writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to create clear, compelling, and audience-focused content.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and content workflows effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a structured approach to planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content tools and enthusiasm for using technology to improve workflows.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and performance optimization.
  • Experience creating content for both consumer and business audiences is preferred.
  • Familiarity with content design principles and digital storytelling practices is a plus.
