The Impact You Will Have
This role serves as an operational anchor for the Medicaid organization, accountable for driving predictable execution, performance visibility, and delivery on contractual commitments. The role supports deliberate planning, year-over-year performance expectations, and ownership of RFP and pursuit cycle readiness and execution.This position ensures enterprise understanding of contract requirements, operational readiness, and implementation accountability, and partners with Compliance to maintain regulatory alignment. This role is accountable for operational accuracy, proactive risk identification, and outcomes supporting Medicaid P&L performance.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $159,000.00 - $200,200.00 Annual

What You'll Do
- Direct end-to-end Medicaid procurement and contracting activities, including RFP strategy and execution, contract negotiations, implementation planning, and contract modifications.
- Provides operational and administrative support to Medicaid accounts throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure ongoing contract readiness and accountability by maintaining required documentation, overseeing contract data integrity, and leading annual contract obligation attestations.
How You'll Do It
- Overseeing team workload and delivery to ensure objectives supporting Medicaid P&L performance are met.
- Facilitating coordination across internal and external stakeholders to support Medicaid account execution.
- Partnering with Government Liaison and Medicaid Program Health teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and leverage data insights to inform proactive decision-making.
- Contributing to Medicaid and enterprise education efforts to ensure understanding of Medicaid programs and contract requirements.
- Accountable for the full associate lifecycle, including workforce decisions, performance and talent management, employee relations, policy compliance, and cost control.
- Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive Medicaid experience, with 1+ staff, team lead or project lead experience.
- Bachelor's degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Masters degree in related field.
- Knowledge of government healthcare programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of health plan operations, products, and business practices.
- Experience improving processes, workflows, or operational performance.
- Ability to communicate expectations and priorities clearly to team members, actively listen to resolve issues and remove barriers, and drive alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze department challenges, guide team decision-making, and collaborate across teams to drive resolution and next steps.
- Ability to effectively organize team work, balance priorities across projects, and manage time and resources to ensure timely delivery and coordination.
