Job Description

Senior Product Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in the United States.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll turn complex data, workflows, and operational challenges into intuitive experiences that help users make confident decisions. You’ll primarily support internal operations teams while also improving experiences for agency leaders and other key users. Working across product, engineering, data, and operations, you’ll contribute throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research to launch and iteration. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing for data-rich B2B SaaS environments and simplifying complexity without losing important nuance. You’ll conduct research, shape information architecture, develop scalable interaction patterns, and contribute to a growing design system. You’ll also explore AI-assisted approaches to research, prototyping, and design workflows. This is an opportunity to have meaningful product impact within a fast-moving, mission-driven environment focused on improving access to better healthcare experiences.

Accountabilities:
  • Design intuitive interaction flows, interfaces, and UI components that help brokers and agency leaders act effectively on important data, including production trends, contracting gaps, and commission issues.
  • Translate complex datasets, reporting, and operational information into clear workflows, visualizations, controls, and decision-making experiences.
  • Conduct discovery interviews, usability testing, and other user research activities, using findings to inform design decisions and validate UX patterns.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to deliver features throughout the full product lifecycle, from early concepts and prototypes through launch and post-launch iteration.
  • Incorporate AI tools into the design process for activities such as research synthesis, rapid prototyping, exploration of design directions, and workflow optimization.
  • Help evolve how design and product teams use AI in their day-to-day work, identifying practical opportunities to improve speed, quality, and collaboration.
  • Contribute reusable components, interaction patterns, and documentation to the design system.
  • Apply and refine information architecture and navigation patterns to reduce cognitive load and make complex experiences easier to understand and use.
  • Balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and data complexity when developing product solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4–6+ years of experience designing web-based B2B SaaS products, internal tools, or other complex digital experiences, particularly in data-rich environments.
  • A strong portfolio is required, demonstrating end-to-end projects, design decision-making, user research, user flows, and production-ready UI deliverables.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and enthusiasm for incorporating AI-assisted tools and workflows into the design process.
  • Experience contributing to and evolving a design system through reusable components, interaction patterns, and clear documentation.
  • Solid understanding of information architecture and the ability to structure data-heavy experiences for clarity and ease of use.
  • Strong UX fundamentals and attention to design craft, combined with an ability to think across systems and connected experiences.
  • Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and communicating design rationale using user research, product insights, and business context.
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows and datasets while preserving the nuance needed for effective decision-making.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.

Benefits:

  • Base salary of $145,000–$165,000 USD.
  • Equity compensation, with flexibility to balance equity and cash based on individual preferences.
  • Healthcare coverage, including dental and vision.
  • Flexible work location within approved U.S. locations, with coworking options available.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Paid time off and 11 paid holidays.
  • Monthly remote work stipend to help cover home-office expenses.
  • Paid parental leave, including up to 14 weeks for birthing parents and up to 8 weeks for non-birth parents.
  • Two-week paid sabbatical after five years of employment.
  • Wellbeing benefits and resources through SpringHealth, One Medical, PerkSpot, and SoFi.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare technology environment.
  • Remote work and a collaborative environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and take on meaningful challenges.
  • International remote work is not available; all work must be performed from an approved location within the United States.
