Job Description

Software License Manager

Company Overview
Spry Methods is a proven provider of mission-focused technology, cybersecurity, and program management solutions supporting critical Federal and DoD missions. We specialize in delivering integrated, high-impact solutions across cyber operations, enterprise resource management, and mission support services. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and innovation - empowering our teams to deliver meaningful outcomes in complex, high-security environments.

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):
Do you like being the single person who actually knows where every license lives? You will be the central administrator for the PM MAGTF C2 commercial off-the-shelf software portfolio — fielded, laboratory, test, and training assets — working directly with the Product Support & Sustainment Team Lead. Get this right and the portfolio never loses a capability to an expired renewal. It is a role with clear ownership and immediate visibility, which is exactly how we like to start people on a growth program.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
  • Act as central administrator for the MAGTF C2 COTS software portfolio across fielded, lab, test, and training assets.

  • Ensure all software license assignments are approved by the PM MAGTF C2 representative (currently the PSS Team Lead).

  • Draft license management procedures for Government approval and perform the administrative and tracking tasks supporting COTS license management.

  • Establish and manage the procurement timeline — maintain configuration status, license expiration and renewal schedules, and purchase order status trackers.

  • Produce COTS portfolio cost forecasts (including fair share allocation) and regular software utilization and accounting summaries from the PMO-approved tracking tool.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
  • Demonstrated history of delivering software license, asset, or procurement tracking — 4 years' relevant experience per the Staffing Matrix.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ADP-II/IT-2 (T-3) eligibility.

  • Advanced spreadsheet skill and genuine comfort owning a recurring reporting cycle.

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with COTS license renewal cycles or IT asset management tooling.

  • Familiarity with Government procurement workflows and purchase order tracking.

  • Exposure to DoD sustainment or product support organizations.

  • Detail-oriented to the point of mild obsession — this role rewards it.

Perks of Working for Us (Benefits):

Medical Coverage – Cigna - 4 Options

- Traditional - PPO Open Access Plus Network

- (2) HDHP - PPO Open Access Plus Network

- HDHP - EPO Open Access Plus Network

Dental Coverage – Cigna - PPO Base & Buy-Up Plans

Vision Coverage – Principal - VSP Choice Network

Paid Holidays: Full-time employees receive 11 paid federal holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO) – PTO accrual starts at 15 days per year

Training Benefit – Annual training allowance available toward any job-related training or education

401(k) – Multiple Fund Choices through Fidelity with a company match
