The yard loader will use materials to secure pontoon boats to outbound trailers.
The yard loader will complete the required work assigned for the day including following written work instructions, verbal instructions, and other tasks as assigned in support of boat production and shipping needs.
Position is an outdoor yard position, and this person must be able to work outdoors, in all elements, in and out of boats, and on and off of semi-trailers as needed to support the loading and outbound shipping process.

Management Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
· Communicate with truck drivers before and after loading to ensure safety and proper tiedown procedures are followed.
· Communicates and coordinates with production and service team members on what moves are needed next to support production, service, and shipping.
· Assists in service and repair activities, some of which will be after regular work hours or on overtime including scheduled Weekends.
· Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly yard and work area.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:· Able to use cordless tools and hand tools to install bracing and dunnage.
· Understanding of proper tiedown methods to secure loads to flatbed trailers.
· Able to communicate with others.
· Able to read and understand work orders, manifests, bills of lading, and work instructions.
· Have attention to detail and the ability to work safely and with urgency.
· Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision.
· Committed to doing quality work and strives to improve every day.
· Must have solid work attendance and be reliable

Education and Experience
· High School degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
· Must be able to read work instructions and drawings.
· Must be able to work at a fast pace.
· Must be able to walk the facility and yard including lifting, walking, bending, twisting and carrying materials.
· Must be able to work outside for several hours at a time.
· Must be able to traverse on and around heavy equipment and semi-trailers.
