Pay Rate of $16.00 ph, Plus Full Benefit Package!

Shift Available: Monday - Friday, 7a-3p plus every other weekend

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities of the Full Time Laundry Aide:

· Sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and place in appropriate containers or assigned areas in the laundry room and separate all items that require special stain removal/treatment

· Wash and dry soiled linen, laundry and garments

· Fold, count, stack, hang and distribute clean laundry, linen, garments, etc., to resident daily

· Keep Laundry room floors clean

· Clean walls and ceilings of laundry rooms as necessary

· Turn in all unidentified laundry, linens, garments, etc., to lost and found

· Discard waste/trash into proper containers

· Laundry experience in healthcare preferred

· Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred

· Show kindness and respect toward residents, family members, visitors

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English
