The mission of the Ecommerce Analyst at Cozey

As Ecommerce Analyst reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, your mission is to turn Cozey's ecommerce data into clear, actionable insight that drives better decisions across both the department and business. You own the reporting infrastructure, funnel analysis, and experimentation measurement that the team relies on to understand what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities lie.

What you'll be doing

  • Own Cozey's ecommerce reporting suite: Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards that give the team a reliable view of performance across Canada, US and Australia storefronts, tracking the metrics that matter most to the business.
  • Own conversion and funnel analysis: Pinpoint where shoppers drop off across the path to purchase, quantify the revenue impact, and surface clear improvement opportunities. Build cohort and segment-level analysis to understand how different customer groups browse, add to cart, and checkout.
  • Own experiment measurement: Help define KPIs, set up tracking, deliver post-experiment read-outs, and maintain an ongoing, iterative approach to testing. Work closely with Tech to ensure experiment tagging and event tracking are accurate before tests go live.
  • Own ecommerce data hygiene and QA: ensure event tracking, tag implementation, and analytics configurations are accurate; audit setup regularly and coordinate fixes with the technical team when gaps are identified.
  • Track organic search performance across storefronts: Rankings, impressions, clicks, and revenue attribution. Partner with content, merchandising, and performance marketing to translate SEO and landing page insights into on-site improvements and growth opportunities.
  • Build and run AI-powered workflows to improve ecommerce data analysis: Identifying opportunities to automate reporting, surface insights faster, and improve the team's overall analytical output.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, digital analytics, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and experiment analysis (AB Tasty, Optimizely, or similar).
  • Comfort with SQL for data extraction and ad hoc analysis; Python or R is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce funnels, conversion rate optimisation, and digital merchandising metrics.
  • Experience with SEO tracking tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar).
  • Interest in and experience with AI workflows and tools. You've explored how AI can make data work faster and smarter.
  • Strong communication skills – you're able to translate data into clear recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented with a high bar for data accuracy and a habit of questioning numbers before presenting them.

We care about you

  • You will receive a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefit package.
  • Endless opportunities for personal and professional growth in a fast-growing start-up.
  • A generous PTO policy that allows you the time you need to recharge.
  • A role where your strategies and decisions directly influence the company's operations and growth.
  • A workspace where everyone is welcomed, heard, and valued.

Please note that we may use AI-powered tools to support parts of our hiring process, such as application screening and interview coordination. These tools help us focus our time where it matters most: getting to know candidates. All hiring decisions are made by people, and we’re committed to a fair and inclusive process.
