Medical Technologist in Winslow, Arizona at Winslow Memorial Hospital Inc

Performs clinical laboratory procedures.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.

Must satisfy the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments-1988 to be qualified to perform and supervise high complexity testing in the medical laboratory

Experience: Minimum of 1 years of clinical laboratory experience

Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification

License: Current AMT or ASCP or equivalent certification

Specific Skills: Must be capable of exercising a high degree of independent judgment. Must desire to promote and ensure high quality laboratory testing. Must have good general working knowledge of all areas of the clinical laboratory including routine immunohematology, microbiology, chemistry, toxicology, endocrinology, hematology, coagulation studies, urinalysis, serology, pathology and quality control principles and procedures.
