COMMERCIAL COOKING EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN in NEW HYDE PARK, New York at Day & Nite Air Conditioning Service Corp

Day & Nite is hiring skilled elite-level Cooking Equipment Technicians with 5+ years of experience with mastery in servicing commercial kitchen equipment—from gas and steam to advanced electric units. This role offers a clear path for technical growth and professional development. Technicians will work in the field, supporting clients in the foodservice industry with expert-level repair, maintenance, and customer service.

• Independently diagnose and repair high-end electric kitchen equipment: combi ovens, pressure fryers, dishwashers, mixers, and rapid ovens

• Troubleshoot and repair advanced electric control systems

• Work under CFESA Electric Certification

• Lead system installations and commissioning of new units

• Serve as a field trainer and mentor for technicians across all levels

• Handle escalated service calls and deliver expert-level client support

• CFESA Electric Certification required (or ability to obtain)

• 5+ years of high-level technical experience in commercial food equipment

• Leadership, training, and advanced diagnostic capabilities required

• Positive attitude, highly organized and energetic

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record

• Must pass company drug test and background check

• Good personal appearance and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
