Advantage Building Services LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Chimney & Fireplace Technician to support one of our valued clients, Chicagoland Fireplace and Chimney Restoration Co. Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect chimneys and fireplaces for cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and maintain chimneys and fireplaces using specialized equipment.
• Remove debris and creosote buildup from chimneys.
• Repair and replace damaged chimney components as needed.
• Service gas, direct vent, and wood-burning fireplaces.
• Educate customers on chimney safety and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Follow safety policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• CSIA Certification preferred (training assistance available).
• Experience as a chimney sweep or similar trade preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift equipment.
• Knowledge of CRM/appointment software is a plus.
