Hotel Front Desk Attendant in Nampa, Idaho at Super 8 Nampa

Our hotel is searching for two front desk agents; one is a part-time position on Saturday and Sunday mornings (7 am-3 pm) and Monday evening (3 pm-11 pm), and the other is a full-time position consisting of three evening and two audit shifts (Tues-Thurs 3-11 pm; Fri-Sat 11 pm - 7 am).

You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. $14 - $15 hourly

• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
• Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct
• Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
• Field customer complaints when necessary
• Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers

• High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
• Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
