Warehouse Associate

• $18.50/hour • Temp-to-Hire

About This Opportunity

Seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role focuses primarily on receiving materials, loading and unloading shipments, order picking, packaging, and maintaining an organized warehouse. Team members will also assist production during periods of high demand.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM (30 minute Paid Lunch)

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pre Employment Requirements

• Drug Screen Required
• Background Check Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Client Interview Required
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Valid Driver’s License Required

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, and unload incoming and outgoing materials
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stage materials
• Pick customer orders from warehouse inventory
• Package materials according to customer specifications and quality standards
• Label, scan, and receive inventory accurately
• Conduct dock audits to verify orders and quantities
• Weigh materials and verify packaging paperwork and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area
• Supply packaging materials to production as needed
• Assist Production and Supply Chain teams with daily shipping needs
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Dress Code

• Casual but professional
• Steel-toed boots required

• Previous sit-down forklift experience
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, scales, and banding equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Preferred Requirements

• Manufacturing experience
• Metal fabrication experience
• Blueprint reading experience
• Experience using measuring devices

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk frequently throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. (team lift when necessary)
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling materials
• Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots and hearing protection

Additional Information

• Position will primarily support the receiving department.
• Forklift certification will be provided if needed after hire.
