Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton™, is currently hiring for a Restaurant Host. As the first point of contact for our dining guests, the Restaurant Host/Hostess sets the tone for a warm and welcoming experience. You’ll manage reservations, greet guests, and support the seamless flow of service within the restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival
• Maintain an organized waitlist and manage guest flow during busy service periods
• Provide accurate wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible
• Call out parties when tables become available and escort guests to their tables
• Seat guests in a manner that balances guest preferences and server sections
• Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy dining room, including clearing and resetting tables
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth dining operations

Qualifications:

• Open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure
• Prior host experience in a high volume restaurant required
