Job Description

POSITION: Screen Room Operator

HOURS: 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

As a screen room operator, you will be making our customer’s artwork come alive by producing screen printed garments in a highly efficient production environment.

Here is what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job.)

    Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.Effectively interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution of job responsibilities.Daily reclaiming, shooting, coating, taping and blocking all screens as needed in production. Run the reclaim machine, screen coater, or I Image machines as trained.Have great attention to detail.Comply with safety procedures, rules and regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work environment for smooth and consistent output.Utilize computerized ink mixing system to accurately produce Oeko-Tex certified ink for high quality production on our screen printing machinesOperate turnabout mixing table to thoroughly mix the various ink colors. Organize and categorize ink inventory in the ‘ink library’ to ensure quick location and efficient workflows.Run and maintain the squeegee cleaning machine to provide screen printing presses with new squeegees daily.Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.

Required education/skills/experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

        4imprint is an organization committed to learning and curiosity. We’ll work with you on your journey to earning this equivalency, within your first 1 year of employment.
    Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing work environment.Detail oriented with a professional attitude. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Please refer to the physical requirements form for details on the physical requirements of this role.
