Job Description
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Basic knowledge of signs and symptoms of substance use intoxication, dependency and withdrawal.
Knowledge of patient assessments, treatment planning, nursing interventions, evaluation, medication administration, and nursing care to specialty population.
Required Length and Type of Experience
Knowledge of current trends in nursing.
Required Licensure or Certification
Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
Sitting, standing, ability to utilize keyboard,lifting, stooping, flexible scheduling and adaptable to changing environment. Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires walking and standing for extensive periods of time. Requires hearing and vision corrected to normal range. May require some exposure to communicable disease and body fluids.
Preferred Certification or Experience
Chemical dependency certification.
One year experience in medical surgical nursing.
