This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead AI Product Designer (IC Track) in India.
This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role focused on shaping next-generation AI-driven product experiences within a fast-evolving real estate technology platform. You will own the full design lifecycle, from early research and ideation through to polished, production-ready interfaces across web, mobile, and AI-powered conversational systems. The role blends strong product thinking with exceptional visual craft, requiring you to operate confidently in ambiguous problem spaces and rapidly translate ideas into elegant, usable solutions. You will design both traditional UI and emerging AI-native interactions, including conversational workflows and agent-like experiences. Working closely with product, engineering, and research teams, you will help define scalable design systems and ensure design excellence across multiple surfaces. This role also involves mentoring designers and contributing to a strong, collaborative design culture. You will actively integrate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate ideation and execution while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Own the end-to-end product design lifecycle, including research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity design, and production delivery across multiple platforms.
- Translate complex user and business problems into clear, intuitive, and visually refined product experiences aligned with strategic objectives.
- Design AI-driven and conversational interfaces, defining interaction patterns, system responses, guardrails, and feedback states for trustworthy user experiences.
- Create detailed design artifacts such as user flows, prototypes, motion concepts, and UI systems that communicate design intent effectively.
- Conduct usability testing and apply data-driven insights to iterate and improve product performance and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers, ensuring feasibility, consistency, and alignment between design intent and technical implementation.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems, ensuring scalability, consistency, and accessibility across all product surfaces.
- Mentor junior designers and actively support a culture of collaboration, feedback, and design excellence.
- 8–10 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and visual craft.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and deep experience working with scalable design systems.
- Proven ability to design AI-powered or conversational interfaces with a focus on usability, iteration, and performance outcomes.
- Strong understanding of user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decision-making.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments alongside product and engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, typography, layout, motion, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS) and design-to-development workflows, including design tokens and system thinking.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor junior designers.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Exposure to AI tools and modern design workflows, actively integrating them into daily practice.
