Associate Director, Community Content Implementation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Director, Community Content Implementation based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, product execution, and user engagement, focused on delivering high-impact digital experiences for students, parents, and educators.
You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing content directly within product environments that guide teens through college and career planning.
The position requires a strong balance of executional precision and data-informed iteration to continuously improve usability and engagement.
You will translate editorial direction and product priorities into structured, actionable content embedded across digital journeys.
A key part of the role involves optimizing content performance based on user behavior, engagement signals, and qualitative feedback.
You will also support multimedia integration, ensuring written and video assets work seamlessly together within product flows.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role with direct impact on how millions of learners access and engage with educational guidance.

Accountabilities:
  • Produce, publish, and maintain high volumes of written and curated content within digital product experiences supporting student and family engagement.
  • Develop clear, actionable content such as articles, guides, summaries, and supporting materials aligned to user needs and product goals.
  • Optimize content structure, placement, sequencing, and calls-to-action to improve engagement, log-ins, opt-ins, and repeat usage.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and user behavior to identify opportunities for continuous content improvement.
  • Translate editorial direction and product priorities into execution-ready plans, outlines, and content structures.
  • Manage content workflows, backlogs, and timelines while balancing new production with ongoing optimization.
  • Integrate video assets into product experiences and create supporting written materials to enhance usability and comprehension.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery aligned with product updates and feature releases.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital content creation, implementation, and optimization within product or web environments.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, user-focused content.
  • Experience working with content management systems (e.g., Drupal or similar platforms).
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and user feedback to guide iterative content improvements.
  • Familiarity with designing content for teen and family audiences, particularly in educational or guidance contexts.
  • Experience using tools such as project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com) to manage workflows and deadlines.
  • Basic design skills using tools like Canva to support visual content needs.
  • Strong ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with frequent publishing cycles.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and translating direction into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (1–3 days per month if required).
