Position / Title: Deburr / Shake Operator
Shift / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
@ times they have OT that can be from 5:00-3:30 & if Saturday 5:00/6:00 – 11:00

Following successful interviews, selected candidates may begin employment immediately following completion and successful results of the required background check and drug screening.

Until the Rowlett facility officially opens, all Rowlett-based employees will report to work at the Bonham facility.

To help offset the additional commute, employees hired for Rowlett positions will receive a $2.00 per hour temporary commute differential while working in Bonham. The commute differential will end once the employee officially transitions to reporting to the Rowlett facility.

Tongrun International is seeking a Deburr / Shake Operator to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. This position is responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from fabricated metal parts, separating ("shaking out") laser- and punch-cut components from sheet metal skeletons, and preparing parts for the next stage of production.

The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in producing high-quality parts.
Essential Responsibilities

Separate finished parts from laser- and punch-cut sheet metal.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections using hand tools and deburring equipment.
Inspect parts for quality, damage, and completeness before forwarding to the next operation.
Read work orders and follow production instructions.
Identify and report quality concerns or damaged materials.
Organize parts by job number and maintain accurate part counts.
Safely operate hand tools, grinders, and deburring equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Assist other production departments as needed.
Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Experience working with sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands and arms throughout the workday.
Comfortable working around metal fabrication equipment.
