Job Description

Paralegal

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paralegal based in the United States.

This is a newly created opportunity supporting a General Counsel across licensing and contract-related work.
The role combines hands-on legal support with project coordination and senior-level administrative assistance.
You’ll help manage multiple legal workstreams, keeping timelines, documentation, and deliverables organized and moving forward.
The position is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership without close supervision.
You’ll collaborate with a distributed, cross-border legal team in an environment where clear communication and reliability are essential.
The role offers meaningful exposure to legal operations while allowing you to apply strong organizational and project management skills.
This is a remote, full-time contractor position designed for an experienced legal professional who thrives independently.

Accountabilities
  • Provide direct day-to-day support to the General Counsel across licensing, contracts, and related legal matters.
  • Coordinate multiple legal workstreams, maintaining timelines, tracking milestones, and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Organize and maintain legal documents, records, agreements, and other materials with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor important dates, deadlines, renewals, and follow-up actions to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Support contract and licensing processes from initial documentation through completion, coordinating inputs and next steps as needed.
  • Assist with project management activities, providing structure and visibility across ongoing legal initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and executive-level support to the General Counsel where required.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders across a distributed, cross-border environment.
  • Work independently and asynchronously, identifying priorities and driving tasks through to completion with limited supervision.
Requirements
  • Law degree strongly preferred, combined with equivalent hands-on paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in paralegal, legal operations, contract, licensing, or a closely related field.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage timelines, multiple workstreams, priorities, and deadlines independently.
  • Previous experience supporting an executive or senior leader in an administrative or executive assistant capacity is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling legal documents, dates, deadlines, and sensitive information.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed and cross-border teams and maintaining reliable communication across U.S. business hours.
  • Proactive, dependable, resourceful, and capable of taking ownership of tasks from initiation through completion.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize competing requests while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Benefits
  • $10.00–$12.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Approximately $1,733–$2,080 per month based on a standard full-time schedule.
  • Full-time, hourly contractor engagement.
  • Fully remote work arrangement.
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior legal leadership and gain broad exposure to licensing and contract operations.
  • Independent and flexible working environment within a distributed, cross-border team.
  • Opportunity to combine legal expertise with project management and executive support responsibilities.
  • Candidates are responsible for providing their own work equipment.
