What We're Looking For

This position requires officers with both weekday and weekend availability. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Position Responsibilities
Armed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a professional security presence while protecting client property, personnel, and assets. Officers will conduct foot patrols, monitor site activity, oversee access control procedures, verify visitors and contractors, and ensure all site security policies are followed.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring entrances and exits, responding to security concerns and emergencies, documenting incidents, completing daily reports, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. Officers are expected to remain alert, professional, and customer-focused throughout their shift while serving as a direct representative of both SecurityRI and our client.

Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Rhode Island Armed Security Guard License
- Rhode Island License to Carry (LTC) Permit
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Professional Appearance and Demeanor

Candidates must be capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, utilizing security technology, maintaining accurate documentation, and interacting professionally with a wide range of individuals.

Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, strong observation skills, and the ability to remain alert throughout their shift.
