Essential Functions

  • Assists with clerical tasks that support production planning and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules.
  • Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors.
  • Tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems.
  • Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases.


    • Required Qualifications

      • Required education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
      • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


      Preferred Qualifications

      • Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
      • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Detail Oriented. Clerical Skills. Ability to Understand and Follow Directions. Data Entry-Keyboarding. Inventory Management. Problem Solving. Production Control. Production Planning. Production Scheduling. Production Support. Resource Planning. Supplier Management. Order Tracking. Record Keeping. Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) Software. ERP Systems. Inventory Control Software.


      Physical Requirements

      • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
      • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
      • This position is Safety-Sensitive.
