Seeking a detailed Admissions Specialist for the Hosptial- Full - Time Opportunity - Overnight Shift

Position Summary

Admissions Specialists are responsible for processing all admissions to the KidsPeace Children's Hospital from referral to completed admission.

This individual will possess a working knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care, will be customer-focused and mission-driven, thereby ensuring timely processing of admissions to KidsPeace National Centers.

The Admissions Specialist will develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of mental health delivery systems to assist callers in finding appropriate programs for clients not accepted at KidsPeace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree required (60+ credits) ; Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
  • Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
  • Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent organization abilities required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
