About the Role:
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations within the organization. This position focuses on analyzing and optimizing inventory plans, demand forecasts, and supply chain processes to support seamless product flow from suppliers to customers. The analyst will leverage ERP and warehouse management systems to monitor and improve supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance service levels. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role drives continuous improvement initiatives and supports strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. Ultimately, the Supply Chain Analyst ensures that inventory levels are balanced to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and operational disruptions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory planning, and demand forecasting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
- Experience with supply chain optimization tools and advanced data analytics software.
- Familiarity with bill of materials management and production planning processes.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory and demand plans to align with business objectives.
- Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems to track and manage bill of materials and inventory movements.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of supply chain optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
