This role supports a nationally recognized youth sports program focused on expanding access, participation, and engagement in baseball and softball communities across the country. You will serve as a central connector between sports organizations, league operators, and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of events and strong partner experiences. The position blends relationship management, event operations, and data oversight in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for driving participation growth, improving partner engagement, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple programs and events. A significant part of your work involves managing data accuracy, reporting, and system workflows that support national-level programming. This is a highly dynamic role requiring strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage both strategic relationships and detailed operational processes. Your work directly contributes to making youth sports more accessible and well-organized at scale.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with MLB and MiLB club partners, driving engagement, participation, and retention through proactive communication and follow-up
- Execute outreach and activation strategies across assigned territories to increase host participation and strengthen local program adoption
- Serve as a key liaison between the program and the broader baseball and softball ecosystem, ensuring professional and consistent representation
- Support partnership activation by ensuring external organizations have the tools, guidance, and resources needed to run successful events
- Translate program requirements into clear operational guidance for community-based and youth sports organizations
- Support key national and strategic partners through coordination, deliverables tracking, and follow-through on shared initiatives
- Own operational planning for local events and championships, including timelines, scheduling, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
- Lead communications planning for major events, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent messaging to athletes, parents, and stakeholders
- Serve as on-site operations support for key events when required, proactively identifying and resolving issues in real time
- Manage day-to-day operations for key data and registration systems, including LeagueApps workflows, data intake, and issue resolution
- Oversee end-to-end data operations for participation, registration, event results, and reporting accuracy
- Maintain and audit data systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across all program touchpoints
- Build dashboards, reports, and tracking tools to support leadership decision-making and program visibility
- Identify trends, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities, recommending process enhancements where appropriate
- Collaborate cross-functionally with events, marketing, and program teams to align execution and communications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 4–5 years of experience in event operations, partnership management, program coordination, or related fields
- Background in youth sports, particularly baseball or softball, is highly preferred
- Experience playing or coaching collegiate sports is an advantage
- Strong understanding of youth sports ecosystems and community-based programming
- Experience managing event operations, registrations, and data/reporting systems
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work weekends and travel frequently based on event schedules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with sports organizations, leagues, or governing bodies (MLB/MiLB experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, event-driven environments with shifting priorities
- Strong work ethic and collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Hourly compensation of $34.19/hour (W-2 contractor role)
- Remote work with frequent travel (approximately 2–3 weekends per month)
