Description:
Aquila's Mat Pilates Instructor will teach group Mat Pilates class at Aquila health & fitness managed centers and programs.
The pay rate for the position is $55/class. The class is held on Wednesdays at 12:15 pm in the Miami airport area. There is also a class available in the Brickell downtown area on Thursdays at 6:00 pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach safe group mat Pilates exercise classes
- Demonstrate proper technique and modify movements for different levels
- Educate members concerning safe techniques
- Adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures
- Adhere to client’s policies and procedures
- Assist in promotions and external events
Qualifications:
- National group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, or ACSM) or Aquila approved certification
- Experience teaching mat Pilates classes and specialty Pilates certification or training
- Active CPR certification

- Maintains a desire for continual improvement
