This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Contract Workday LMS Configuration Specialist in India.
This short-term remote engagement offers the opportunity to contribute to a global Workday Learning transformation focused on simplifying and modernizing enterprise learning experiences. You will work on designing scalable, role-based learning architectures that replace manually managed learning paths with automated, intuitive assignment logic. The role is highly consultative and configuration-driven, requiring deep expertise in Workday Learning rather than traditional LMS administration. You will collaborate with global stakeholders, including L&D and Workday teams, to translate business needs into structured system designs. The assignment is fast-paced and impact-oriented, combining discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex LMS architecture challenges in enterprise environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for redesigning and configuring Workday Learning to support scalable, role-based learning journeys and improved user experience across the organization.
- Audit existing Workday Learning environments, including learning paths, assignment rules, and configuration structures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate role-based learning requirements into system design.
- Design and configure scalable learning assignment logic, audience segmentation, campaigns, and conditional workflows within Workday Learning.
- Support integration and validation of SCORM/AICC content within the updated LMS framework.
- Conduct end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance before deployment.
- Document configuration changes, processes, and architecture decisions for client handover.
- Work closely with global L&D and Workday teams throughout discovery, implementation, and validation phases.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Workday Learning expertise combined with consulting experience and the ability to design scalable LMS architectures.
- Proven experience in Workday Learning configuration, architecture, and implementation.
- Strong background in designing role-based, audience-segmented, or automated learning assignment structures.
- Familiarity with Workday Learning campaigns, business processes, and assignment logic frameworks.
- Experience integrating SCORM/AICC learning content into Workday environments.
- Ability to translate complex L&D requirements into scalable and efficient LMS configurations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills in global environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based consulting setup (time & materials model).
- Experience working on enterprise LMS transformations or Workday Learning projects is highly preferred.
- Competitive hourly or contract-based compensation
- Fully remote engagement within India
- Flexible working hours (with overlap to US Eastern time zones)
- Short-term high-impact assignment (approx. 2 months)
- Opportunity to work on a global enterprise Workday Learning transformation
- Exposure to advanced LMS architecture and configuration challenges
- Collaboration with international stakeholders and enterprise L&D teams.
