DIETARY AIDE (FOOD SERVICE WORKER) - PER DIEM in Avon, Connecticut at AVON HEALTH CENTER

As Dietary Aide (food service worker), you will help to prepare and serve food in a family-owned, friendly nursing home setting. You will report to the Director of Dining Services. This is a PER DIEM position.

$17.50/hour plus weekend differential if applicable

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• Help prepare food and meals
• Wash/clean dishes and washroom duties
• Deliver food to facility residents
• Assist with special catering events at facility
• Assist in kitchen as needed
• Assist in resident dining room as needed

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work independently and as a team player
• Communicate well
• Deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff
• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• May have to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions
• Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays as needed by department
• Must be reliable

EXPERIENCE:

Experience preferred but will train the right candidate!
